Gout is the result of high levels of uric acid in the blood. Which is a condition in the body where there is an accumulation of excessive amounts of uric acid. Until causing crystals to crystallize in various joints and causing severe pain and swelling in the joints and other symptoms of the disease as a result.

Uric acid is a chemical in the blood that comes from the breakdown of purines in tissues throughout the body and food eaten. The body balances uric acid by filtering it from the kidneys before excreting it through urine and feces.UFABET

But when there is more uric acid from the body’s production from eating foods high in purines. Or the kidneys have abnormalities in filtering purines. These mechanisms may easily lead to hyperuricemia. However, the exact causes of these mechanisms are currently unknown. But it was found that there are many factors that are related, such as  

  • Heavy drinking of alcohol for a long time
  • Eating foods that contain too many purines, such as poultry, animal organ meats, vegetable shoots, krill or shrimp paste, sardines, mussels, yeast extracts.
  • Vitamin C deficiency 
  • eating fruit drinking soft drinks or drinking certain fruit juices that contain more fructose than the appropriate amount per day
  • Illnesses that affect rapid changes in cells in the body, such as severe psoriasis or certain blood disorders
  • Some medicines that affect uric acid levels in the body include diuretics,  certain chemotherapy drugs, aspirin, and some blood pressure medicines.
