Marc-Andre ter Stegen could return ahead of schedule after 32-year-old goalkeeper makes quicker recovery.

German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is undergoing stem cell therapy to recover from his injury faster than usual and is likely to return to the pitch sooner than expected, Ufabet Sport reported on Sunday.

Ter Stegen suffered a serious right knee injury in a 5-1 win at Villarreal earlier in September and required surgery and will be out for the rest of the season. But the 32-year-old is likely to return ahead of schedule.

German goalkeeper is reportedly undergoing a new stem cell therapy that has proven effective in speeding up healing of similar injuries. 

According to the report, if German goalkeeper continues to recover well. There is a chance that he will be able to return to the field before the end of the season. The 32-year-old goalkeeper is expect to return in April at the UFABET earliest. But Barcelona will only field the German goalkeeper if they are confident that the player is 100% fit.

Inaki Pena has done relatively well in the two months that has been Barcelona’s starter. While Wojciech Szczesny has yet to play since being signed as Ter Stegen’s replacement for the rest of the season.
